8th Grade – 12th Grade: Starting in 8th Grade, we use the textbook series Integrated Chinese（聽說讀寫), a widely used textbook series used in many U.S. high school and college level courses. Available in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, this textbook series incorporates the perspectives of high school and college students studying in China. Other teaching materials are frequently used to supplement the main textbook. Emphasis is placed on students becoming proficient in speaking and listening, with regular work in reading and writing more advanced material. Similar to the Lower School classes, weekly homework assignments, regular quizzes and tests are required. Students who satisfactorily complete these classes are eligible for graduation and earn a CSSW diploma.
